Program Description
IN-PERSON ONLY
To maximize the time and energy devoted to any qigong practice, over and above physical and structural components, proper execution and pacing will determine the effectiveness of the exercise. Much in the same way that a piece of music once physically learned, needs to be performed at the proper tempo with the proper articulation and expressions for the ‘music’ to flow, the same holds true with qigong. Whether prescribed as homework for a treatment, or if you want to take your routines to a deeper level, proper pacing is the key that will unlock the mystery and reveal the true benefits. As practitioners, the therapeutic focus and utilization of the specific components of the routines along with understanding and being able to share this information while combining tailored calibration and entrainment will ensure maximal benefits. The three qigong routines to be taught: Sun & Moon, Golden Ball and The Eight Rotations, in addition to providing specifics for acupuncture treatments, offer a wonderful opportunity for people of all levels of interest and experience to expand their qigong repertoire.
The workshop will consist of lecture/discussion, exercises, and Qigong sets designed specifically to reconnect and enhance neurological health and activities.
Current practitioners will receive six (6) continuing education units (PDA points) for completion of the class. A CEU certificate of completion will be given at the end of the CEU. Attendees must attend both classes in its entirety to receive the certificate.
Attendance is required to receive PDA credits from NCCAOM.
