Infertility & Its Treatment In Chinese Medicine

March 23 - 24, 2024, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Register early! Class sizes are limited

Program Description

In 2023, data from WHO indicated that 1 out of 6 people worldwide are infertile, with the U.S. being a “fertility desert.” Such low birth rates have become a global health issue, aside from the emotional stress stemming from pregnancy failure.  As such, viable options and alternatives have been sought as one solution to this public crisis, which have included the use of Chinese medicine.  Serving as an adjunctive or a stand-alone treatment, Chinese medicine has been associated with higher incidence of successful pregnancy in infertile women.  This seminar will examine and discuss the etiologies of infertility and miscarriage, correlated Chinese medical concepts with Western biomarkers for fertility, and the clinical management and treatment for infertility with the different modalities of Chinese medicine.

Current practitioners will receive thirteen (13) continuing education units (PDA points) for completion of the class. A CEU certificate of completion will be given at the end of the CEU. Attendees must attend both classes in its entirety to receive the certificate.

Attendance for both days is required to receive PDA credits from NCCAOM.

Licensed Acupuncturists must provide their license number when registering for this event.
