Dr. Garcia maintains a private practice in Los Angeles, specializing in orthopedics and dermatology. She has taught in the master’s and doctoral programs at Emperor’s College, Yo San University, and Alhambra Medical University since 2018. Dr. Garcia received both master’s and doctoral degrees from Emperor’s College, with dual concentrations in classical and Japanese acupuncture. She completed advanced studies with Dr. Mazin Al-Khafaji and received a diploma in practical Chinese medical dermatology from the Avicenna Centre for Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Garcia has been studying orthopedic acupuncture with Dr. Benny Lin since 2018. She is currently studying sports acupuncture, anatomy and dissection with the AcuSport Education Sports Medicine program with Matt Callison. She has practiced many types of massage for over 20 years, and is certified in massage therapy, shiatsu, pediatric acupuncture, and facial acupuncture rejuvenation. She studied Italian and music at Yale University and classical music at the Curtis Institute of Music, receiving a bachelors and masters in vocal music and opera.
