Program Description
The Ji-Spine is considered one of the most important gu-bones within the study of Chinese medicine. Ranging from its influence over other skeletal joints and articulations to its relationship with the Du Mai-Governor Vessel (Sea of Yang), the Spine has been classified as a qi fu-extraordinary/curious bowel and as a constitutional vessel. Also conceptualized as the “tree of life,” the Spine is depicted as a medium for the San Jiao mechanism in the dissemination of ming-life and its yun-destiny, where each vertebra can impact an individual’s genetic disposition. Ascending into the nao-brain – the seat of the big Shen-Spirit, the Spine can be “opened” through the application of sound, light, and touch. This weekend seminar will focus on the importance of the Ji-Spine and how to tap into its qi, not only for the treatment of diseases, but also for spiritual cultivation.
Current practitioners will receive thirteen (13) continuing education units (PDA points) for completion of the class. A CEU certificate of completion will be given at the end of the CEU. Attendees must attend both classes in its entirety to receive the certificate.
Attendance for both days is required to receive PDA credits from NCCAOM.
Licensed Acupuncturists must provide their license number when registering for this event.
