Western Blood Lab Analysis & Chinese Medicine

November 5 - 6, 2022, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Register early! Class sizes are limited

Program Description

An integral part of Chinese medicine in the West is its interface with Western medicine – either in communication with physicians of Western medicine or the lab work that patients-clients bring into the consultation.  A well-versed clinician of Chinese medicine should be cognizant of indicators and markers suggested and implied by Western blood chemistry from laboratory analysis, which can assist in the diagnosis of the patient-client’s condition, With the premise that the more diagnostic parameters used, the more focused the treatment(s) can be.  This seminar is intended to provide Chinses medical practitioners an introductory understanding of Western blood scores and how to understand such markers from a Chinese medical perspective.

Current practitioners will receive thirteen (13) continuing education units (PDA points) for completion of the class. A CEU certificate of completion will be given at the end of the CEU. Attendees must attend both classes in its entirety to receive the certificate.

Attendance for both days is required to receive PDA credits from NCCAOM.

Licensed Acupuncturists must provide their license number when registering for this event.
