TWO INDIVIDUAL CEU’s

Saturday’s Topic: Interpretation of Points from Classical Medical Texts and Application in Modern Disease

Date: Saturday, February 24, 2024
Kiiko Matsumoto will be sharing her knowledge of classical medical texts.  Learn how her interpretations of certain points discussed in the Ling Shu can be correlated to modern diseases often seen in your clinics today.  Gain a greater understanding of Source points, Gao and Huang points and the navel area as they relate to deep rooted diseases that manifest as genetic disease, trauma and autoimmune diseases.

Sunday’s Topic: Looking Outside the Traditional Understanding of the Organs and 5 Elements

Date: Sunday, February 25, 2024
Kiiko Matsumoto will breakdown the rationale of certain points as she understands them through the classical medical texts.  She will explain how different theories of points can be useful for modern disease that often do not fit into the classical 5 Element and Organ theory such as genetic disease, fetal deformity and neuropathy.  There will be live demonstration of when to use these points, needling techniques and when to use okyu.

Current practitioners will receive seven (7) continuing education units (PDA points) per day for completion of the class. A CEU certificate of completion will be given at the end of the CEU. Attendees must attend the class in its entirety and review the prerecorded videos to receive the certificate.
