President’s Award-JAMES RYAN
This award is awarded to the student who has shown excellence in community service and in contributions to a positive environment at the school. This student is a recognized leader and a role model for the entire ESATM community.
Dean’s Award-SONIA CARRANCHO
This award is awarded to the student who has shown excellence in academics. This student will have shown consistent excellence in their academic performance and will also have an exemplary attendance record.
Clinical Achievement Award-MICHAEL ZAKKO
This award is awarded to the student clinician who has shown excellence in their clinical skills. This student will have shown excellence in physical skills, interpersonal skills, time management, and practice management and the ability to work collaboratively with her/his peers and supervisors.
Faculty Excellence Award-DEANNA CARELL, L.Ac.
This award is awarded to the Eastern School faculty member who has shown excellence in their work as an instructor in the classroom and in their collegiality and teamwork with the ESATM community. This faculty member’s positive attitude and strong work ethic has made a tangible difference in the college’s efforts to improve and grow.
Perseverance and Growth Award-GREER GARTENBERG
This award is awarded to the student who has shown an admirable commitment to working hard and putting forth positive effort to achieve excellence. Their hard work and positive attitude has resulted in noticeable growth in their achievement and their positive contributions to the ESATM community.
Spirit of The Great Physician Award-JOHN BARTLEY MARTINEZ
This award is given to the student clinician who embodies the many facets of clinical work and the spirit of entrepreneurship that is necessary for success. This student shows strong student leadership and initiative along with an ethic that results in high patient satisfaction.
The Julie Puretz Award-CHANTAL MARTINEZ
This Founder’s Award is given to the student who embodies the qualities that the Eastern School was founded on. High character, strong work ethic, and the willingness to overcome obstacles were all qualities exhibited in Julie Puretz, which the Eastern School was founded upon. This school exists because of the passion, dedication, and refusal to quit that our founders used to provide the foundations on which the school has evolved and grown. This student has shown these same qualities and has positively contributed to the Eastern School community.
